job hunting tips
janie asked:

I live in a very small town right now where opportunities are pretty limited, I was thinking about going to nearby states like Florida or Georgia to find a job but I don’t know the best way to do it. is it a good idea to just move there and then find something or should I try to secure a job first? I’d prefer the latter, How can I successfully job hunt while i’m in another state?

1st work 2 extra jobs to get the money up for road trips to do interviews.
2nd get books on resumes to write.
3rd visit craiglist, oodle, monster, local tv radio newspaper websites to check their job listings. do the hunt over inet if u have trade or profession.
if u do not , get 2 more partitme jobs , sell any thing of value, save up all u can , make sure ur car is mechanically safe and comfortable to live in.
then after u pick out a place to start looking in person do so. check out above hints first.
be sure u save 3- 6 months of expenses b4 moving.
when u get there take ANY cash paying job while looking for the ‘one’ job for u.
hunger comes b4 pride everytime.
