If you are good at anything and I mean anything, try to start your own business. I have. It comes really slowly right now, but maybe in a few years I will be able to have a full fledged business of my own. The best thing about my business has been I own everything that I need except a building to house my business and owe nothing to anyone.
Try online jobs too, especially if you have a computer and internet.

Broaden your horizons.

My job history:

1 year custodian
6 years Air Force
1 year hot tar roofer
2 years salesman
1 year rough construction
2 years computer repair
2 years alarm technician
5 years OTR semi driver
8 years metal fabricator

My point is, you can do anything so long as it pays the bills.
Everyone trains new hires. You can get any labor job if you’re willing to work and learn.

The other reason why a lot of people cant find jobs is that they have high expectations. Where a guy came from does not matter, he should always expect to hire in at the bottom - with commesurate pay. If you prove to be good, they’ll give you a promotion and a raise reasonably fast.

WOW!!! what a bunch of junk there’s no way your gonna make a living doing that crap I’m having the same problem looking for a job anyway the real deal is to get your name out there pick up applications from different places filling them out and turning them in as well as online applications so that at least your name is in the system and who knows right also go on monster.com you can find jobs pretty easy there or another way is to find a company or buisness that looks for a job for you I went with this place called aerotech which takes your application and finds a job that fits your description but you’ll have to look one up in your are I’m sure you’ll find one
LASTLY, you better have a good resume otherwise you’ll never find a good job

Have you tried manpower or other temp services?

If you qualify for student aid grants you may try going back to school during this time?

Put in as many paper apps as you can and call these people - be persistent and get in their face.Online apps may be fast somewhat but aren’t the best at getting you a real life job.Try temping,go to school or volunteer somewhere - if they like your work they may hire you on,it also looks good on job apps and you could be helping someone at the same time.

Hello:

Temp agencies are always a good idea in a poor economy. Lot of companies loathe to pay health benefits, 401k so they hire temps. Sign up with a couple, not just one. You’ll be surprised how quickly the phone call comes.
