I’m 15 and looking for my first job. I’m in the process of writing a resume. Who are acceptable references? I’m fairly new to the area so the only people I can think of are all teachers…

Thank you all for any advice, I really appreciate it!

I registered in two agencies local to where I live and several online agencies two weeks ago and apart from a job possibility in three weeks I have n’t heard anything from them! Am I supposed to be calling them everyday to ask if there are any new job positions or might this iritate them and reduce the chances of them finding a job for me? I really need to work but for all I know I might just be a name on a database to these recruitment agencies so I need to do something more active, but what?

No time to attend college weekly, I have a 9 month old and bills to pay. I make good money, but would like something more steady then waitressing. I was thinking about real estate school, or going to get my insurance license (these are things I THINK would be good in the money area, and also not take long to get, and reasonable with my situation). I just want some advice on what to do, maybe where to go, etc. I need good health insurance in my job also, that’s always a plus. Thanks!

I am looking for an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager etc. kind of job in San Francisco or the East Bay. I Have been looking on craigslist for about 2-3 weeks now applying to 3-7 jobs a day but I am not getting any followups. I just graduated from college with a BS in Psychology, have over a year or managing experience, and about 2 years added up of random secretary/administrative support positions.

I have a decent resume which has been looked over and approved by a number of people, and I spend time customizing my cover letters for each individual job.

Any tips?
also where else can I look?

I am likable, hard working, and really want to throw myself into a new job 100%.
