im 20 i have a certificate in medical administartion, and i cant find a job. any tips?
I’m a college student looking for a full-time job to pay for my bills and tuition. I’ve been applying everywhere using hotjobs, craigslist, and even applying in person. I’ve never waitressed, and I’m really not into retaill; I want a job that’ll look good on my resume.
So far I’m having little success. I’ve gotten a few interviews, but no job offers. I got an interview as a bank teller, but the position was too far to commute so the Bank Recruiter claims she’s looking for a closer position for me. I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m just getting very discouraged.
Should I just go to a temp agency and hope for the best? I’m not low on cash right now, but I will be unless I can find a job in the next month or so? Maybe my standards are too high…

I am currently unhappy where I am currently employed and I wish to find another job.
The only problem is, I do not really have one particular thing that I want to do. Of course, education is a big factor, and I have only attended some college.
I am a very artistically talented and intelligent individual. I can write, paint, draw, take photographs, and I have tons of work experience, but I don’t know what field my resume’ should be geared towards. In any job I have had I could accomplish any task that was put in front of me, but I am having trouble specifying what to put in my resume that will capitalize on these things.
Right now I am a technical writer, but I only have 5 months technical writing experience, and a lot of resume’ websites want specifics on job field. Any advice on what I should do to brush up my resume’ with the talents I have?
I’m currently working on getting my license to teach American History.
As we all probably know, its hard to find teaching jobs; especially for subjects such as mine. Any tips on how to find the job and be hired?
I’m sorry; I should be more specific. When I say there’s a lack of teaching jobs, I mean they are hard to get because so many people want them.
I have tried Careerbuilder and Monster but are no good for entry-level graduates.

I live in a very small town right now where opportunities are pretty limited, I was thinking about going to nearby states like Florida or Georgia to find a job but I don’t know the best way to do it. is it a good idea to just move there and then find something or should I try to secure a job first? I’d prefer the latter, How can I successfully job hunt while i’m in another state?
