I graduated with honors from college in 2006 with a degree in journalism. i’ve been working at a local TV station since then in a job I don’t particularly like and where I have very little chance of advancement. I’ve been applying for other jobs for more than a year now. I’ve probably sent my resume to more than 130 places and I’ve had no luck. I’ve had two interviews in that time. I’ve had professionals read my reume and tell me it’s good. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I use all the job search agents like Hotjobs and Monster. I’ve sent my resume to a variety of places for a variety of positions and can’t seem to have any luck. I’m getting so frustrated at this point. I would like to advance in my career at some point soon. I would appreciate any adice you have that could bring me better luck in my search! Thanks!
